Establishing a pond in your garden is a good way to naturally attract dragonflies and toads, both of which play an important role in controlling the population of snails and slugs.
In the framework of the GARDENISER ACADEMY mobilities, aspiring and experienced gardeners and gardenisers traveled across Europe—visiting inspiring community and urban gardens in Italy, Austria, Spain, and France. These mobilities provided a unique opportunity for participants to learn, share, and grow together in a multicultural environment, enriching their skills and perspectives on community gardening.
More than simple study trips, these exchanges were immersive learning journeys, fully aligned with the mission of Gardeniser Academy: to professionalise the role of community garden coordinators and the gardens themselves.
